Frank D. Atkinson was an American born in the United States in 1896. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and was promoted to Master Sergeant in the Quartermaster Corps and served during World Wars I and II. Upon retirement, he worked as a civilian clerk for the U.S. Army in Panama. He died on June 9, 1946 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
