Notes
Sergeant Baczewski was a member of Company B, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was seriously wounded in action on April 10, 1952 and returned to duty shortly thereafter. He was Killed in Action against the enemy in Korea on May 16, 1952. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
