Sergeant Bain was a crew member of a M4 Sherman tank with Company D, 89th Medium Tank Battalion, 25th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy near Hill 507 on the Wyoming Line at Poyngang, North Korea on June 14, 1951.
