Francisco Ballestero-Delgado was born in New York on December 2, 1945. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and was promoted to Sergeant First Class. He was sent to fight in Vietnam and was assigned Construction Equipment Supervisor, Headquarters and Service Company, 536th Engineer Battalion. He earned the Meritorious Service Medal. After he retired he went to the Canal Zone and worked for the Panama Canal Company. He died on October 15, 1998 and was buried at the Corozal Cemetery.
