Corporal Balogh was a member of Headquarters Battery, 24th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion (Automatic Weapons). He suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage and was taken to the 21st Evacuation Hospital, where he died on August 24, 1952.
