H. R. Barclay was Born in the United States in 1939. He was the chief engineer of the "PMSS SOUTH CAROLINA". He died on August 30, 1883 from unknown causes and was buried at Flamenco Island, Panama. He was reinterred at the Ancon Cemetery in 1911. In about 1915, he was disinterred, cremated and his ashes stored in the Panama Canal Company's Mortuary. Upon request from the mortuary, he was and reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1981.
