Notes
Colonel Bennett was a member of the 333rd Tactical Fighter Squadron. On September 2, 1967, he was the pilot of a Thunderchief Fighter (F-105D) on a mission over Quang Binh Province, North Vietnam, when his aircraft was shot down by hostile fire. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
