Warrant Officer Berna was a member of the 516th Ordnance Maintenance Company, U.S. Army. He suffered injury from a jeep accident 5 miles south of Sukcho-ri, North Korea and was taken to 8209th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital where he died on November 16, 1952.
