Notes
Private First Class Bishop was a member of the 17th Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on March 9, 1951 and returned to duty on April 15, 1951. He was Killed in Action while patrolling his front lines near Yanggu, South Korea by enemy mortar fire on February 17, 1952. It was his second voluntary tour in Korea.
