Captain Brazik was a member of the 433rd Tactical Fighter Squadron. On July 26, 1967, he was the pilot of a McDonnell Douglas Phantom II Fighter (F-4C) on a mission over North Vietnam when his aircraft crashed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
