Specialist, Fourth Class Bremmer was a member of the Quartermaster School, Training Directorate, Military Assistance Command, Vietnam. On December 14, 1971, he was a passenger in a Beech Ute Utility Aircraft (U-21A) flying an administrative flight from Phu Bai to Da Nang, South Vietnam when the pilot reported engine trouble and contact was lost. He was declared killed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
