Rose Octavia Wood Bruhn was born of American parents in Ancon, Canal Zone on April 12, 1915. She married Richard E. Bruhn, lived at de Fabrega and had three sons. Two years after she had her third child she died at home of pulmonary embolism on January 13, 1952 and is buried at the Corozal American Cemetery near her husband, Richard.
