Gilbert Bullock was born in Hobart, Indiana on April 17, 1887. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was promoted to Electrician, First Class during World War I. After four years of service he was honorably discharged and worked as an electrician for the Panama Canal Company at Pedro Miguel, Canal Zone. He died on June 11, 1937, was cremated and stored in an urn at the Scottish Rite Temple in Panama. Upon a request from the Scottish Rite, his urn was buried in a mass grave at the Corozal American Cemetery in May 15, 2002 near his wife, Anna.
