Seaman Cayce, U.S. Naval Reserve, was a crew member of the Guided Missile Frigate USS WILLIAM V. PRATT (DLG-13). On November 12, 1967, he was swept into the ocean by a 20 foot wave. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
