Captain Chorlins was a member of the 602nd Special Operations Squadron, Nakhom Phenom, Royal Thai Air Force Base. On January 11, 1970, he was flying in a Douglas Attack Skyraider (A-1H) on a mission over Laos, when his aircraft crashed. CAPT Chorlins remains were later recovered and identified in 2015. His name is permanently inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
