Gerold E. Cooper was born in New York on January 7, 1912. He moved to Panama to work as Dipper Dredge Captain, Panama Canal Company. Upon retirement, he moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. He died on February 8, 1987 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery with his stillborn son.
