Anne Tiernan Corrigan was born in Drogheda, Ireland on February 28, 1846. She married John Corrigan in 1872. They immigrated to the United States in 1885 and became a naturalized citizens in 1893. She moved to the Canal Zone in Panama and remained from 1913 to 1921. Then she moved to the eastern shore of Maryland. She died on December 14, 1926 and was buried next to her son, John Paul Corrigan, Sr., her grandson, Jerold Corrigan, and near her daughter in law Mary O'Connor Corrigan at the Corozal American Cemetery.
