The remains of 2LT Covington have been recovered and are interred at Arlington National Cemetery at a grave site with the co-mingled remains of crew members, 2LT Harold M. Bachman and 2LT Lloyd H. Herbert. His name is permanently inscribed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Netherlands American Cemetery.
