Second Lieutenant Arthur Craig Daub was born in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania on October 14, 1919. He graduated from Amherst College, Massachusetts. On June 2, 1941, He enlisted as an Aviation Cadet in the Army Air Corps. Upon graduation he served as a Second Lieutenant with the 39th Observation Squadron, U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He married Evelyn Ruth Dawson on February 3, 1919. He died on May 14, 1942 from an aircraft accident at Patriot Hill and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
