Notes
Corporal Dumas was a member of Company C, 1st Battalion, 19th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War by the Chinese forces near Anju, North Korea on November 4, 1950. He was at the repatriation point at Panmunjon, but taken away before he was scheduled to be repatriated. He was taken to Camp #5 at Pyoktong, North Korea. He was presumed dead on February 26, 1954. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
