Airman Second Class Eagan was a member of the 1993rd ASCS Mobile Communications Squadron at Kimpo Air Force Base, Japan. He was stricken with hemorrhagic fever and taken to the 11th Evacuation Hospital, Wonju, South Korea where he died on December 28, 1954.
