Captain Eisenbraun was a senior advisor with Headquarters, Military Assistance Command, Vietnam. On July 5, 1965, he was at jungle outpost Ba Gia near Quang Ngai, South Vietnam, when the post was overrun and he was taken prisoner and died in captivity. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
