Joe Goodwin was born at Ft. Dodge, Webster, Iowa on November 10, 1923. He served as an Electronic Technician's Mate, Second Class in the US Naval Reserve during World War II. After the war he worked for the Office of Industrial Manager for 12 years the Federal Aviation Administration at Balboa Heights for 9 years. He retired and lived at Ft. Amador, Canal Zone. He died on August 4, 2011 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
