Grover Cleveland Gravatt was an American man born in Highston, New Jersey on November 12, 1892. He married Grayce Gravatt. He was commissioned as a First Lieutenant In the U.S. Army and served with the 4th Field Artillery in Panama during World War I. After the war, he worked in Panama as a heavy crane operator, in the Motor Transportation Division of the Panama Canal Company Upon retirement, he remained in Panama. He died on August 6, 1952 at the Colon Hospital. He was buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, then reinterred at Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
