Private First Class Guillory was a rifleman with Company D, 5th Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. On April 25, 1968, he was on a search and destroy mission in Thua Thien Province, South Vietnam, when his unit was ambushed and he was killed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
