Sergeant Henry was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
Notes
Sergeant Henry was a member of Company I, 3rd Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy along the Nsktong River in South Korea on August 7, 1950. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. His remains were recovered on June 24, 1956 and identified on June 3, 2011. His name is permanently inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
