Petty Officer First Class Hodges a crew member aboard the U.S. Naval Intelligence Ship, USS PUEBLO (AGER-2). On January, 23 1968, hi ship was attacked in international waters off North Korea by North Koreans. He was Killed while destroying classified documents when a 55mm shell penetrated the ship and struck him.
