Captain Kallock was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a member of Headquarters Squadron, 3rd Bomber Wing. On September 27, 1950, he was the tail gunner of a B-26B Invader bomber from the 8th Bomber Squadron, 3rd Bomber Group. While on a combat mission, his aircraft crashed near West Iwakuni, Japan killing him.
