First Lieutenant Langlois was the pilot of a F-94B Starfire fighter with the 339th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, 6162nd Air Base Wing. On April 24, 1951, while on a combat mission, the aircraft crash landed and caught fire. The two man crew could not egress the plane.
