Notes
Sergeant First Class Laws was a member of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 5th Special Forces Group. On July 29, 1966, he was with a reconnaissance team operating in Savannakhet Provinceve just inside Laos, southwest of Khe Sanh, South Vietnam, when the team was ambushed killing Sergeant First Class Laws. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
