Master Sergeant Lull was a member of Advisory Team 70, Military Assistance Command, Vietnam. On April 7, 1972, he was an advisor at Loc Ninh, South Vietnam when the city was overrun by the 5th North Vietnamese Division. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
