Notes
Lieutenant Colonel Martin was a member of the 480th Tactical Fighter Squadron. On November 20, 1967, he was the pilot of a McDonnell Douglas Phantom II Fighter (F-4C) on a mission near Hon Co Island 10 miles northeast of the Demilitarized Zone in North Vietnam, where his aircraft was shot down. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
