Notes
Specialist, Fifth Class May was a member of the 5th Special Forces Group. On March 2, 1969, he was a member of a reconnaissance team operating in Cambodia. After insertion at the landing zone, the team was attacked by a battalion size North Vietnamese force killing him. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
