Notes
Sergeant Miyahira was a member of Company H, 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regimental Combat Team. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy near Ukkalgye, South Korea on April 23, 1951. He was presumed dead on March 16, 1954. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
