Notes
Sergeant Morris was a member of Company E, 2nd Battalion, 19th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division. On July 31, 1950, he was taken Prisoner of War during the withdrawal from Chinju, South Korea. Later it was determined he had been killed by a guard on October 8, 1950, during the "Tiger Death March" of prisoners from Seoul to Pyongyang near Sanwon, North Korea.
