Aviation Machinist's Mate (Jet), Third Class Moser was a member of Fleet Tactical Support Squadron 50. On October 2, 1969, he a passenger in a Grumman Greyhound Transport Aircraft (C-2A) enroute to the aircraft carrier USS CONSTELLATION near North Vietnam when contact with the aircraft was lost. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
