Notes
Colonel Neeld was a member of the 188th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Tuy Hoa Airfield, South Vietnam. On January 4, 1969, he was the pilot of a North American Super Sabre Fighter (F-100C) on a mission over North Vietnam, but bad weather diverted him and contact was lost when his aircraft was about 10 miles northwest of Cam Ranh Bay Air Base, South Vietnam. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
