Hospital Corpsman Third Class Pancamo served with Company G, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines, 3rd Marine Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while tending his wounded comrades on the southwest ridge of Yudam-ni near the Chosin Reservoir November 28, 1950 and presumed dead on December 20, 1950. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
