Notes
A 73 year old American man from Columbus, Georgia who retired as a Sergeant First Class from Headquarters Company, 46th Engineer Battalion at Ft. Rucker, Alabama with service in Vietnam and during the Korean War. He was awarded the Bronze Star, the Army Commendation Ribbon, the Vietnam Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Army of Occupation Medal (Germany), and the Republic of Vietnam Commendation. He lived with his wife, Elena Phillips, at Ancon, Panama. On July 31, He died at Coudonia, Panama Hospital. He was cremated and buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
