Notes
Sergeant First Class Renstrom was a member of the 2nd Reconnaissance Company, 2nd Infantry Division. He was wounded by the enemy in South Korea on September 1, 1950 and returned to duty on September 4, 1950. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy in South Korea on February 14, 1951. He was presumed dead on January 6, 1954. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
