Private Roberts was a medic with the Medical Company, 5th Infantry Regimental Combat Team. He was Killed in Action while tending his wounded comrades near Tumok, North Korea on October 13, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
