Private First Class Sanabria was a Light Weapons Infantryman in Company G, 2nd Battalion, 65th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in North Korea on October 5, 1951 and returned to duty on October 11, 1951. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on December 23, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
