Notes

Corporal Seadore was a member of Company D, 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on August 11, 1950 and returned to duty the following day. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy in South Korea on December 14, 1950 and died while a prisoner on April 18, 1951. His remains were not recovered at the time. In 1992, The U.S. Department of Defense received sets of remains which were sent to the Central Identification Laboratory (now the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency) for analysis. Recent technology advancements in DNA and laboratory analysis allowed his remains to be identified in 2017. His name is permanently engraved in the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
