James J. Slattery was a 33 year old single American from Tennessee working as a clerk for the Isthmus Canal Company. He died on May 9, 1905 and was buried at the Ancon Cemetery. He was reinterred at the Mt. Hope Cemetery on March 11, 1914 and reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
