Thomas Slattery was a 46 year old American working as a machinist for the Engineering and Construction Division, Isthmus Canal Company and living at Empire, Canal Zone for three years. He died on May 20, 1906 at the Ancon Hospital and was buried at the Ancon Cemetery. He was disinterred and cremated in 1914, and buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
