The fourteen year old American son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy E. Smith, an Isthmus Canal Company employee at Bas Obispo, Canal Zone. He died on March 28, 1909 at the Colon Hospital. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then re-interred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
