Private Spice was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
Notes
Private Spice was a member of Company E, 2nd Battalion, 279th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Division. He was drowned by a flash flood while crossing the river near Inje, North Korea on August 18, 1952.
