Notes
A 61 year old American man from New York who had served as a Lieutenant Colonel with the 302nd Military Police Escort Guard Company during World War II. He was employed in Panama as a civilian by the U.S. Army Forces Southern Command. He died on February 4, 1971 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery. He was survived by his widow, Eva, son and daughter, and his parents Mr. and Mrs Jacob Stephan, of New Jersey. Lt Col Stephens was the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal.
