Corporal Stidham was awarded the Purple Heart, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
Notes
Corporal Stidham was a member of Company C, 65th Engineer Combat Battalion, 25th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on November 27, 1950. CPL Stidham's remains have been recovered. His name is permanently inscribed on the Korean War Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
