Staff Sergeant Suber was a member of Command and Control North, 5th Special Forces Group. On November 13, 1969, his team was on patrol 15 miles inside Laos in the Saravane Province. The patrol was attacked by a superior force and he was declared Missing in Action. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
